Support for Palm Pre
« on: October 19, 2009, 11:40:21 am »
Hello all,

I'm checking if there is a possibility to get the Appgate-Client although for the new Palm Pre to syncronize the office apps?

Is it possible to check that the mobile - who tries to get access - is allowed to?

Thanks,
Manfred

Last time I checked PalmOS was still single-tasking, which makes it possible to run teh AppGate client at the same time as actually using the tunnel.

It depends on how you define which mobile is allowed to access the system. It is possible to for example look at the IMEI number and only allow each user to connect from one specific IMEI.

Thanks for your response,

which of the clients would you use? I hope they are free for download from your page without installing an Appgate-Server.

Thanks,

I am sorry that I dropped a small but important word in my reply. The point is that it is NOT possible to run something else at the same time as the AppGate client, so it would be kind of useless.
